NWR but last night ...........

I was crying alot during the night.......
Our dog Barney is a rescue dog.....I love him so much :) We've only had him for 1 year and 1 month.
So I noticed that he has like 3 bumps on him. I mentioned it to FH that I want to take him to the vet just to check it out. We brought him to the vet last Feb wen we got him for a checkup.
So last night I was having horrible nightmares about 'loosing' my dog.......Gerry says its probably nothing but why in the world am I so damn emotional!!!??! Even writing this my eyes are tearing up.

NOTHING is wrong with you. Your dog is now a member of your family, and you don't want to fear the worst. The same would be for a human being. I hope all works out well for you and your doggie. Here are some hugs and prayers. Please keep us posted on his condition.

FH's dog has hard bumps all over too.. theyre cysts and the vet said theres nothing to do... theyre no biggie!

dont worry about the dreams... its bc youre so worried and thinking the worst. everything will be fine

Awww I would be upset too so don't feel crazy for crying. Your dog is family. FHs dogs had cysts as well. They're nothing to worry about, and that's probably what your dog has. Keep us updated. I hope it all works out.

Okay so I had FH call and make an appt for the vet....Sat at 10:30am.....Im sure everything is fine but I just want him to get checked out.

two of my dogs had a bunch of those too. turns out they were just fatty tumors - harmless. they only remove them if it's bothering the dog (like one dog had it on her ear so we removed that b/c it was making it hard to hear, but she also had on on her side that wasn't a big deal). i'd still get it checked out though b/c i know i always feel better knowing what it is.

I am sorry to hear that! My dog has a lot of bumps in her side, her chest, and her ears. The one in her chest is pretty big. The vet said it's just fatty tumors and nothing to worry about. I know it's scary to feel them though. I'm sure it's probably that or a cyst.

My dog has a couple of them too-the vets says that she is fine. Dont worry too much until you take your dog to the vet, Im sure its nothing but manymany
