Paris Hilton Out Of Jail After Serving Only 3 Days
Thursday 06-07-2007 10:25am ET
Paris Hilton, who was serving a jail sentence after repeated violations of parole in a DUI incident, has been freed from prison.
Hilton, who already had her 45-day sentence reduced to 23 days, was set loose after only 3 days.
The story was first broke by TMZ.com.
At a news conference, Steve Whitmore of the L.A. county Sheriff's Department, said that Hilton will serve the next 40 days at home, under house arrest, wearing an ankle bracelet.
Allegedly this move was made out of concerns for Hilton's health, though Whitmore said he could not divulge details about her health, citing privacy concerns.
