Last week we got a phone call from and unavailable # claiming to be ADT. They were telling us that our alarm system was not responding to the home office when they did a test. Well thankfully FH was home and said 'well if you are from ADT why is your # unavailable?' They had no answer. (We gave no info) Anyway the next day we called ADT to see what was going on and they had NO record of this call. So for all you homeowners that have house alarms BE CAREFUL. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO AWAY. I am freaked out!
You should never give any info over the phone. I still pay my bills with a check. Call me old fashioned but now a days you can't trust anyone. (OMG! I think I just sounded like my grandma! )

Thats scary! Do you have one of th ose signs outside you house??? Thats probably how they knew you used ADT.
My friend has an alarm system and he has NO signs around his house showing he has it, I dont know how smart that is but it would save him from getting those calls.

Maybe it might save you from the calls, but at the same time it might make the house a little more unsafe without the sign. Maybe just put the stickers on the windows
