has anyone bought furniture? we are looking into buying a bedroom set and living room set. anyone know of a place that has quality furniture for reasonable prices? so far we've looked at macys and liked some things, but want to shop around some more before we make a decision. TIA for any suggestions!

we got our bedroom and living room stuff from JC Penny. we've had it over 2 years, and we're really happy with it. all... and the buying experience was great- they delivered it on time, set everything up for us, etc.... PLUS, the prices were good

we've had our living room set in storage for about a year and a half!! we actually got it at sams club!! so cheap too:we got a sofa, love seat, chair and ottoman for $750-its that nice soft over sized furniture....we just need tables and lamps and were done. but did you try ikea and raymore and flannigans? i know they have some good sales from time to time. good luck!

Also check out Rooms-to-go. www.rooms-to-go.com they have really nice furniture (good quality) at decent prices. FILs furnished their condo with them and we love the furniture. I dont know if they deliver to NY, but you can definately check on their website.
