I need to find a place to have lunch this weekend with some friends. We would love somewhere with outdoor seating, a type of cafe (no chains). We have an appt. with a baker in Babylon (this is for my friends wedding) and I am picking up the bride in East Meadow. She left the lunch place up to me, but I am not very familiar with the area.
There is a place in Bay Shore called Milk & Sugar Cafe. It is such a great place for lunch. I highly recommend it.
I know you said no chains, but why don't you pick up your friend in East Meadow and go to the Cheesecake Factory in Westbury???
Oh I forgot to say one of her other BMs is in Islip and is meeting us, which is why we were thinking somewhere in between E. Meadow and Babylon. Otherwise the Cheesecake factory would be a good idea.
