NWR: Camcorder help!

I taped a lesson that I did for school on Friday with a teacher's camcorder using an 8mm tape.


I borrowed another camera from someone at home to transfer the tape onto VHS, but the playback is all snow.



I know it recorded because I saw it say 35 minutes and I heard it go on and off when the person was recording it.

Also, if the person didn't record it for some reason, the beginning of the tape had stuff on it that I taped over. I would at least see that , but nothing!

What the hell went wrong?? I am so upset. Do you think it is a compatibility issue????


I don't own a camcorder so I was hoping someone could shed light on this problem.
