I grew up in Npt and everyone I know used the vet on 25A near Pumpernickels rest. I cant remember the name and Ive been gone for a while so not sure they are even still there but they were the vet to go to for years.

is that a giant schnauzer???

ive used several vets-

Dr. Star in St. James

Dr. Miller in Huntington

and Petsmart's vet in Commack

to be honest I liked all 3...

I like petsmart the best because I found them to be the cheapest- but they did take really good care of my dog when she was sick.

Dr. Miller, I only used because the dog we purchased from a pet shop, had a deal with the vet that the vaccines were free- they were good- but they have a holistic approach to medicine.

Dr. Star- very very good! my first puppy, a min pin got sick in the middle of the night after being fixed and he came in to the office in the middle of the night to take care of her- answered all the calls himself when i called him scared and worried.

sorry its so much info!

I'd go with Dr. Star or Petsmart
