Hi, FH and I are planning a getaway from the wedding planning in Cape Cod, and a few days in Boston. Any suggestions on Cape Cod hotels? We would like to stay in/near Hyannis, so we can walk from the bars/restaurants to the hotel. The more reasonable the better, as we are saving (or trying to) for the wedding Thanks!

I think there is a place called The Lighthouse in Hyannis. I stay in Dennisport which isn't really far away. I have stayed at two B&B's - By the Sea and The Rose something or other. You can get a list online - search the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce. There are GREAT B&B's (and you HAVE to go to the Sundae School in Dennisport! Best ice cream EVER!)

We stayed at the Cape Cod Claddah bed and breakfast about 2 years ago. I can't remember where it is in relation to hyannis, but they have a bar and restaurant in the bottom level of the house and the service was really great. We are actually considering going back to Cape Cod this summer for my birthday, let me know if you find any other nice places! Diane
I do a triathalon in Hyannis and right by the beach is a hotel called 'trade winds' it looks gorgeous...we stay at a little dinky hotel on the other end of town...
