Hey girls - DH and I both have two door cars and it's getting old. I looked at a Honda Element (solely bc it's funky and lime green!) but realized the back is 2 bucket seats. No good for car seats. I plan on keeping a new car at least 5 or 6 years so I want to it be baby friendly (whenever that happens!) and I would like all wheel drive.
Any suggestions?!
TIA!

What about the Ford Edge? I hear that they have some decent interior space and are not the expensive

Re: NWR: Car?
I would def get a Honda. I have the CRV and I believe its safe enough for my baby. If I were to buy again now I would get a 7 seater though (more space). So try the Honda Pilot
PS Hondas last forever

Re: NWR: Car?
The Caliber is great - I have one - but its small and its not really Dodge's newest car.
I would recommend the NEW crossover from Dodge - called the Journey - its bigger and the ride is lovely - I test drove one a few weeks ago - just waiting for all the options to be available to upgrade from my caliber.
The Journey is new to dealers starting last month. They have two AWD versions. And, they have a lifetime powertrain warranty.

Re: NWR: Car?
oh yeah - and there is an optional 3rd row that folds down into the floor to make it a 7 seater - and it has all sorts of crazy storage compartments, which i love!

depends on the car - and the deal at the time - you can also get financing outside of dodge if that is what is really keeping you from it

Re: NWR: Car?
If you want AWD try ...
Subaru...Forrester or Outback Toyota Matrix (i have this...4 door hatchback...w/ AWD..LOVE it!) Toyota Rav4 or Highlander Honda CRV or Pilot
check out Consumer Reports...they have an annual car issue with tons of info like crash test ratings, reliability, gas mpg, cost...etc

Re: NWR: Car?
The Subaru Outback is really really nice and has the room in the back. Its also AWD all the time
We had a Subaru WRX and as small as it was it was a pretty decent size on the inside, also we NEVER EVER had a problem with the car, it ran like a friggin charm
Now we have an ALtima and I absolutely LOVE IT! Its roomy, runs great, fantastic on gas and it does exactly what you want it to do.
Good Luck, finding a car with everythign you want is so hard these days with all the cars out there.
