where do you go, esp if you live in queens? can i go to a gas station?

I go to R&S Strauss or Pep boys, which ever has a shorter wait time.

I wouldn't go just anywhere. A lot of times they'll lie and tell you that you need a, b and c fixed when you really don't. I'd get a recommendation. I'd recommend you to my guy but he's in Brooklyn. Good luck!

pretty much every gas station does inspections they all have a yellow or green sign displayed outside somewhere saying they are registered to do them.
