We need to get more information but it looks like switching to Geico could save us almost 1k per year (sounds too good to be true so we need to look into it).
Any feedback on them or other companies you have postive/negative experiences with?

I have Geico...FH and I got a discount because we have a policy together. We did have the good student discount because we were both in school but now we're done. I think they do a good job. They were very helpful when I got into my accident-really easy to work with. It was really quick when I was buying my new car...they said it would take 24 hours for all the paperwork-like the insurance cards once I told them my finance company. I told the lady on the phone I wanted to pick up my car in the next few hours so she e-mailed it in 10 minutes. It was really good. Good luck!

My parents, brother and FH have Geico. They've always been super helpful and patient with my father and just good all around from car accidents to roadside service.
I just switched to AIG and saved from my previous coverage. You can do online quotes but its best to call and speak w/ any company directly to get a correct quote

we have geico but I just saw that progressive would cover my dog, so I'm looking into that.

I got into an accident last week. Geico met me at the shop with a rental they paid for. I got my deductible refunded to me (the other driver was a Geico customer) 3 days later! Plus i get a discount because I am a teacher.

I have Geico... I'm still covered under my dad's plan... its super cheap and they are great.

I used to have Geico and they were great but I have Progressive now and it's a lot cheaper.

we use Allstate and we are paying almost half of what other companies quoted us including Geico, Esurance.com, and Statefarm

I have Geico, cheaper as a state employee. I found it cheaper than what I was paying for allstate. Also, consider rental cvg and roadside assistance with them, it is well worth the little extra that you will pay. Do the course and save 10%, it is worth it.

I switched over from Progressive 3 years ago. Progressive wanted to raise my monthly payment, I said no way, switched to geico and saved $600/ year. Geico offers a discount every year you renew with them. Right now we have 3 cars on the policy plus the umbrella policy with Geico.
