NWR: CARS

I am looking to buy a new car and I am so torn....the ones I am thinking about is
VW Rabbit
Toyota Yaris
Mini Cooper

I am looking for a small car...environmentally friendly...anyone have any of these cars and can give me some more insight?

I haven't driven any of them but my husband works for Hertz and he always tells me how great the VW Rabbit is.

Hmmm havent driven any but my vote is for Toyota.

A few of my friends had Volkswagons and had a lot of problems. Mini Coopers are too small and a bit dangerous if you ask me!

I drive a Honda Civic Coupe and I love it. Really fun on fast roads and 40 mpg on highway.

I would go for either the Yaris or the Rabbit... sorry, I can't decide between those two though! They're both really cute!

I read that the Yaris was on the list of the 11 worst cars to own if that helps narrow your choice down some more.

i have a Toyota...but a Matrix...it was about $18k and i love it!

ETA: Checkout Consumer Reports...they always do a car buying issue...listing all info from safety ratings, to reliability to pricing...HTH!
