FH's cat is having surgery today. she is 13 years old & has a growth on her right shoulder. she was brought to the vet a year & a half ago when it broke & they cleaned it all up. well it came back bigger & worse then before. so we brought her to the vet last week & they said it has to be removed because it could grow into her muscle & cause her to not be able to use her right arm. (i call it an arm, but i don't think thats the right word). i am so upset right now. & FH has been freaking out. he brought her in this morning at 8:30 & has already called the vet to see what is going on. the vet is only 2 blocks from our apartment so he is going to walk over later on today to check on her. i hope everything goes ok today.

thanks everyone. i never thought i would be so upset about this. its strange because she is FH's cat from when we has 12 years old but i totally feel like she is my cat right now.
does anyone else feel like that with a pet that was FH's & is now both of your pet?

FH doesn't have any pets, but i have 2 cats at my house-they are kind of everyones cats, FH acts like he doesn't like them-but i know he does
