maybe you girls can help me. I am up for renewal on my cell phone contract and have no complaints, but i need to change my phone! I hate it (mine fell in water and died so I have my brother's old one until I can get a new one). I like the Razr, but I am hearing mixed reviews...Any input on that phone or any others??

The razor has cool features, but it eats up the battery. My phone is always beeping low battery by the end of the night. That's my only complaint. Most people who have Razors but don't have Verizon tell me their phones are fine? I like my phone but I can't wait to get a new one that doesn't die on me after I use it once.

I just purchased the LG and Love it.
I had the Razor and it was the worst phone I ever had.

I have the razor through Verizon and I'm not a fan. I'm on my second one actually after the first one was defective. If it was up to me when I had to turn my first one in I would have opted for something else but then I would have had to pay for it. I agree with the battery not lasting and I find it also hesitates when clicking multiple keys quickly which = for me

I have the razor now, and the battery lasts me around 2 1/2 days. I don't use it during the day, however I NEVER turn the phone off, so it lasts those 2 1/2 days while on.
FH just left his 4 month old razor in his jeans while I washed them this weekend. He didn't check his pockets when he claimed he did. Proof-we have a very waterlogged phone. We had to go buy a new $200 phone. I was not pleased with him. I was rather

I have the Krazr. It's a little bit fatter and longer than the Razr - so it doesn't break easily like the Razr. I haven't charged it for about 3 or 4 days now and it still works. They have a red one now too that's pretty hot. Its probably one of the more expensive phones, but it's awesome. You can put songs from your computer on it too and it plays back pretty well, it also takes videos which is kinda cool.

I have Sprint -- and it's time to change my phone too. I've had my current phone just over 2 years. I was also loking at the Razr or the Krazr, and also worried about battery life.
I have the Razr...my friends have the Razr..and we are not fans! It does have cool features however I literally fully charge the phone and it is dead, completely dead, after about 2 hours. When I bought the phone they let me know the battery had NO battery life but since I have a blackberry I wasn't too concerned about that (I wanted it cuz it was cute and baby pink) however I had NO idea when they said no battery life they meant my phone would be dead within 2 hours! I do however know a few people at work who love theirs but in my experience...not such a good phone! But that is JMO!

I actually so happy to hear this. I just ordered the krazr! I heard bad things about the razor and figured i would try the krazr out!

I heard this too...the people at work who love their rzrs all have Cingular and have no complaints about the battery life. Weird!

Me too!
I've had numerous motorolas, and every one of them I wanted to pitch out the window after 6-8 months. Most of the time, the problems were energy related.... won't turn on, won't turn off, battery munched up in 3 hours w/o any phone calls.... I don't care how cute they are, if they don't work, they're cr@p.
LG's can be tossed about (within reason, or course), and last 2 years w/o incident. I'm on my 3rd one. I also got one for mom, and FH. Everyone has problem-free phones... They're not as stylish as motorola, but I have a reliable phone, with a really good camera (w/ zoom/flash), and a mini sandisk!

I have the Razr too and I HATE it!!!
I thought I was the only one! My battery life is worse than the two hour bit - I literally charge it all night (8 hrs) and use it once, not twice, once - and I have low battery. It's disgusting..
I recommend going with a Nokia or LG... Everyone I know who has those types of phones never had a problem.

I have the Razr and I hate it! It dies very quickly and constantly freezes.

I have a Nokia and like it. It's small and light, but my only complaint is that the buttons are small so sometimes I hit the wrong one. I also had an LG for about 3 years before this and it was pretty good. However, I dropped it on the pavement one night and it cracked to the point where it wouldn't open anymore.

i have the razr and i hate it. But this is a year and a half old one so maybe the newer ones are better? Eeeks my phone dies on me all the time.. and i am not a chatty person either but i do text a lot.

i have a razr for cingular and LOVE it, however fh has it for verizon and has trouble with service (though that could be b/c of where we're located) and it's always dying by the end of the night.

i got the razor a couple weeks ago. i have no complaints. it lasts 2-3 days at a time before i have to charge it. however, like with ANY cellphone, you shouldn't charge it over night or for any extensive amount of time. doing so kills the battery. you need only charge it until its charged...excess wears the battery. i did that to my 2 last phones, both LG from verizon. i have the protection plan on my razor, just incase i drop it, lose it, it falls in water, etc. its only 5 bucks etc a month.
