NWR: Chris Daughtry on Fox 5

For all you fans out there, he's going to be talking on Fox 5 news at about 8 am. He'll be answering questions and talking about getting WRONGLY kicked off.

I will miss it also, Damn work.

He said he was completely shocked at the outcome and didn't feel it was really his time.

He said (and I quote) that he has some VERY BIG opportunities coming his way so it's not the end. Just to keep watching to see.

He's happy about what's to come. Excited.

Agreed...just like Mandisa...they are much better than American Idol anyway!!!!

True, however, if he had won, AI people would have made him into something totally different.... It's probably best he went home now.

Everyone i know is so shocked and frustrated! They all tried calling last night and couldnt get through! I like Elliot too, but i can't see him becoming a big star.. Chris already had it.... i don't even feel like watching the show anymore because i wouldnt buy any one of there Cd's! Katerine is as big an airhead as Kelly was and she showed no emotions when Ryan said she was in the bottom 2... WHAT HAPPENED????

Katherine looks so uncomfortable on stage and she has been seriously sucking. No doubt the girl has a nice voice but she doesn't have, for lack of a better term, 'star quality'. I love Taylor and would go to a T Hicks concert anyday. Elliot, eh, I don't know anymore and I am basically convinced that something went wrong. Either Chris' fans felt it was so in the bag they didn't have to vote or America went tone deaf. Either way, I am so mad and sad!!!

ugh! this makes me more and more convinced that this show is set up- at least to some extent. i think they do this puposely to keep people talking about it, and for 'shock value'. there is no way chris got the lowest number of votes... i definitely think the producers had something to do with it.
but, he'll be ok- LOL- he's better off not getting stuck with american idols contract.

Chris was the only reason I even watched the show! I am sure he has some great record deals and that we have not seen the last of him but I am .

Even though Katharine has a good voice I couldn't stand her from the begining. ZERO personality, has the warmth of a snow pea. She is a typical 'beauty pagent kid.'

She should be GONE based on her last several performances. CHRIS IS AWESOME!!! I was soooo bummed but in the end, he is better off. He doesn't need AI to continue a career in music. He is already a star and will get a great label and management team
