When we had my son's christening I wanted to do a few different things but didn't have enough time to get what i wanted...
I wanted to do those large piggy banks and slide some kind of weight into the slot so that the balloons came out of the coin slot.
i also wanted to do different types of old fashioned cars with that nice netting they've been wrapping the Greek favors with.
I also thought about doing a different type of muppet/sesame street / or dragon stuffed animal or puppet.
I also thought about doing vintage style metal water pales and fill them with flowers or balloons. I would have loved to do that but i was never going to get them in time.
I ended up doing large teddy bears from toys r Us with balloons. We wrapped ribbons around their necks to add some color.
u can always do something like A cute little flower tin or basket with white roses and chocolate lollipops that can double as favors.. if you wanted to keep it simple...
carriage and add filler like confetti.. or maybe white straw... and place candies inside.. or anything you'd like.. and attatch flowers and tulle/ribbon or balloons to decorate....
