NWR - christianing gift

Hi! My cousin is Jewish and married a girl who isn't jewish. They had a baby boy over the summer. They had a bris and now they are having a christening. Any suggestions on a nice gift? I think people usually give cash for these things but how much is appropriate? Any thoughts will be much appreciated!!! Thanks!

To add a little more, it's at a place in the city for brunch. We used to be close but we're not anymore. I never got a thank you for shower gift, baby announcement, or a holiday card (both my sisters did!) I don't want to be cheap but I don't want to be overly generous either.

Do you need social security number to buy savings bond?

I would give cash but the amount would depend on how close i am to the people and where they are having it. I am Greek Orthodox and I know when we have christenings sometimes they are like mini weddings.

Hope this helps
