NWR: Christmas menu

I know it's a little early but dh and I are having and I'm trying to think of some ideas for a menu any suggestions?

I like Italian food for Christmas, and in the past I've made spinach lasagna and baked ziti with chicken sausage and green peppers for auxiliary Christmas dishes at home.

We do the same meal as we do for Thanksgiving....turkey, mashed potatoes and veggies....its the only 2 times a year we have turkey so I loving doing it for both holidays.

We host christmas eve usually and last year we made stuffed peppers and pot roast! Both were huge hits! Let me know if you want the recipes!

everything sounds yummy thanks ladies! we are doing christmas eve and christams day we will have 20 people on christmas eve and 30 on christmas day i should start cooking now lol

I've been starting to think about this too. We're having Christmas at our place for the first time ever this year. Some of the things I plan on making are mashed sweet potatoes with marshmellows on top, corn, asparagus, stuffing, and popovers.

MMM, you can stick with a traditional Thanksgiving style meal. Some people do the turkey, stuffing, and all the fixings with a ham. In my house we do both Cuban and Italian style complete with a roast pork, rice and beans, yucca and then we have fish, lasagna. Try a search on FoodNetwork and maybe they'll have suggestions. Good luck. I am sure you will figure out something!

Christmas eve we usually do the Italian Seafood Extravaganza Christmas day we usually do a spiral ham and all the sides, yummy! Can't wait!!!

Christmas Eve -
Italian Traditional Seafood & Pasta
my favs include crabs cooked in red sauce, spaghetti, steamed king crab legs, etc..

Christmas Day-
maincotti & stuffed shells homemade with meat sauce
