Anyone ever try this diet? I am currently on it and it has been somewhat tough. I'm not going to lie!! Basically it is 11 days 4 of those days you cleanse and don't eat. The other days there is a shake for breakfast and dinner and a 400-600 cal lunch. The cleansing days take place two in a row at the beginning and two at the end. Today is my 2nd cleanse day so I haven't eaten a meal in 48 hrs and can't believe I have been able to do this. I am NOT hungry at all. They give you snacks to help curb your appetite and keep your metabolism going. Also you can have 2 almonds every couple of hrs. I was struggling during my 1st cleanse day bc it is mind over matter but I actually feel healthier today. I have lost 5 pounds in 3 days!! Just wondering if anyone else has tried this and how their results were. Also, is it an ongoing program for you or did you just do the 11 day.
PS this diet detoxifies your body by cleansing the liver...everything is natural/vitamins

Re: NWR- Cleansing Diet..Isagenix
just be careful bc right after you stop doing this, you gain weight. Whenever you stop eating or eat alot less than you normally do and then go right back to eating normal, it will all come right back on and some put on even more weight. Your stomach shrinks when you do this, so when this happens, it can only take a certain amount of food after and even if you are eating normally its easy to gain weight. You have to really keep up even after
if you are doing it just for the cleansing part its fine.

I def thought about this as a possibility but the reason why I decided to try it is bc I was on weight watchers and lost 10 pounds and hit a plateu (sp?). I figured I would see if this would help me to get out of that and then go back to weight watchers. I also liked the idea of cleansing. I do feel better! This girl at my job did the program which is how I found out about it. She lost 43 pds in 2 months doing 2 rounds of the 30 day program which only requires 1 day of cleansing per week. She now just does weight watchers and goes to the gym and has kept it off. She picks days here and there to cleanse. Ten of us at work decided to try it together so we will see !!

well as long as you keep it up after. If you lost weight and hit a plateau, then definitely throw in some exercise. I think this would help the most.

I def plan to keep it up. I already go to the gym 3x a week sometimes 4x and I eat very healthy. So I get frustrated when the scale doesn't move! I really think it could be the inches Im losing more so than the weight also....who knows I just know I need to get this weight off before the wedding and I will hopefully only have ten more after I finish the program.

yeah dont just pay attention to the scale, do you physically see a difference? when you work out you build muscle and muscle weights more than fat so that might be why you will expect to see more weight loss on the scale but don't. Also change up your workouts, try new ones so you can challenge your muscles in different ways and make them work so you can lose more.
