NWR: clothing help... (bc im not good at dressing up)

i have a skirt... and a cream turtleneck...

this is the skirt...


and it will be worn with soemthign VERY similar


with cream tights

what shoes do i wear!? pleas any suggestions are apprecieated!!!!

ps... i cant wear flats... bc i look stumpy.

Where high black boots but I dont think cream stockings will go, wear nude or wear black tights

i would say a nice pair of pumps. i would wear red or an animal print. if you dont have that the just a simple black pump works as well.

I never buy navy b/c its just too hard to match. You're really supposed to wear an oxblood/burgundy color shoe w/navy. These are too hard to find so I dont bother. I say buy a new skirt!

i have a navy dress that i bought for my shower but i am going to wear it for my RD and i might wear gold shoes OR red shoes but my fashion consultant (aka my coworker) said then i have to find BOLD accessories in either of those colors to bring it all together

that is so much work LOL

i don't think black and navy go at all - don't mix them. you can either wear brown shoes or maybe a wine colored shoe/boot etc.

i like the boots idea but if you do that wear nude stockings (or suntan)

navy is hard but i loove it and i wear it with either brown high boots or a pair of high heeled wine mary janes

see the skirt was $20 at jcrew

my size... and i want more skirts...

it was a great deal...


but now i have NO shoes.. or anythng to wear from the thighs down...

on tues i will play dress up and update and ask for everyone opinions..


this will be for xmas and if it was a success i may wear it outside!!!


ehh i can wear pjs for xmas.. his family wont care that much!!!

yeea i agree, no tights, wear stockings and i would wear like a black heel with maybe a peep toe in it??? or some kind of rounded toe

The skirt and top go great togther.

Black and Navy blue DO NOT match. Please don't wear them together.

I know you said you don't think you could pull of a flat but I bet you could. A burgandy or even a grey flat would look adorable.

I would do a brown boot. You don't have to spend a lot to find cute things. I am going to look on line for you -- but start at payless -- they are having Bogo sale right now.

Ok -- $19.99 Payless -- a great starter boot. Cheap enough if you hate them and you never wear them again -- no real money lost!
