Does everyone get along with their co-workers? I work in a super small office with the morning shift of about 5 girls, and me and another one got into an argument the other day where it led to yelling at each other (luckily my boss wasnt there because i was upset at myself that i was unprofessional by yelling in the office) but i felt like throwing the freakin credit card machine at her head........ long story short..........she beasically told the manager something about me that shouldnt have been repeated, and the only reason she knew was because she overheard. so after the manager left the office i let her have it about saying things about me and one thing led to another and i started yelling because she got defensive like she can just say things about me and its OK!! she must be crazy or something lol anyway just wanted to vent and see if im the only one that has a coworker from hell that i really CANT STAND WORKING WITH

I too have had trouble getting along with coworkers... I need a job where i can be by myself hahaha

yes me too! and the worse part of it al...this world is so freaking small that she used to go to high school with FH and all she does is ask me questions about him because she hasnt seen him in like 7 years or tell me stories about him like i give a ----------- and thennnn she said something like 'oh i know im getting an invitation to your wedding because i work with u and he was my friend' hahahahaha i told her dont hold her breath waiting for the invite

I hear ya! I have worked with the same core group for years now, so we all know each other's quirks. Not to say I don't give them a good tongue-lashing every now and again

i completely understand.. i work with a bunch of older women that think I am a child and they think they can talk to me like a child... I come across as the nicest person but, thats when they see a side they didn't want to see

I know how you feel! My coworkers are all weird! I dont get along with one most of the time!! He thinks I am his assistant sometimes which I am not but when I tell my boss she says I need to get along with all personality types and my position is the glue that holds the departments together!
its hard because most of the time you see these people more then you see your loved ones!! :(

In my old department? NO not at all. I hated the woman I worked with. She always snitched on me and talked sh*t. But now, Im with men, so much better...no bullsh*t talking if they dont like me they dont talk to me plain and simple!

I used to work in a VERY small office (5 people total) and I became 'friends' with the bosses daughter who worked there when school was out...long long long story short she turned psycho started telling me to do things like clean the freakin bathroom!!! HELLO I was the receptionist not the MAID!!! lol anyway, so we got into MANY screaming matches and I finally had enough and quit.
There is NO getting along with someone like that, no matter how hard you try b/c you'll end up getting pooped on and thats not cool or fair.
I now work in a larger but still 'small' office and I get along with mostly everyone, there are two or three out of the bunch that I've had verbal confrentations with, but nothing to quit over
