NWR: Coaching Vent
I have tried calling some friends to vent to, but no one is answering their phones, so sorry if this is stupid...
So I am the middle school boys basketball coach for the school I teach at. I have twenty boys on my team (we are not allowed to make cuts). Even though there are only 5 players on the court at a time, and we play only 7 minute quarters, I still have to try and get everyone in the game.
So we played yesterday and one of the fathers of the better players was complaining that I was putting in everyone, even the kids who could barely catch the ball. Then today, we played a good team (and lost) and I didn't get everyone in. I have a mother walk across the court and complain that I didn't play her son. I CAN'T WIN!!
Don't these parents realize that I am doing the best I can, that I really get payed peanuts for doing it and used to do it because I like coaching, and that after working all day the last thing I want to hear is them bitching at me!!!![]()
LEAVE ME ALONE! I DO THE BEST I CAN!! I WAS AT WORK TODAY FOR 11 HOURS SO GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!
