I went to Governor's on Friday night. The comic was extremely racist and was wishing cancer on people. I thought it was completely in bad taste. Then the guy started picking on me because I was not laughing. The whole thing really pissed me off.

That sounds terrible. I hate when they single out people in the crowd. It's never funny and it just shows the comic has no real talent

Nick DiPaola. FH failed to mention the guy was a comic on the Howard Stern show. I went to the bathroom and some random girl was telling me how sorry she felt for me and how awful I must feel.

Re: NWR: Comedy Clubs
Exactly how I feel. I am not really amused by comics that make fun of everyone. If they have to, I just had racism and sexism. I like the ones that make fun of themselves. The last comic we saw was pretty funny and I was excited to go on Friday. This guy just completely turned me off.

Next time any comic does that (I looooooove to go to shows) Id bark right back at him...*** is he, you kno?
Make for some good material..
IM a Nick DiPalo fan, have been for a long time, and Its just his style tho, not for everyone...I was singled out by Lewis Black before and so was my dad, and even tho he ripped me a new one,..i was honored that lewis black noticed me!

Re: NWR: Comedy Clubs
i love him! but i still feel bad for you!
i would SOOOOO not want to be in that audience - comedy clubs make me nervous and i will only go if another friend really wants to. . .
we went after the jr prom and they made FH go up on stage and they were calling him a guido and stuff it was SO embarassing!

Re: NWR: Comedy Clubs
I went to a comedy club after prom (Comedy Cellar). The comedians were picking on the people in the front row. I was just happy I wasnt in the front.
They werent that funny... it was kinda boring.
I also saw Brian Regan at Carolines. He didnt pick on anyone in the audience and I thought he was hilarious.
