FH and I hope to move into an apartment (to rent) by around 11/1. I really want to be in a building instead of an apartment in someones home. Can anyone recommend their building in Nassau County as 'a nice place to live' before we purchase a home? We would be needing a 2br. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so MUCH!

Re: NWR-condo/apartment building in Nassau
Would you be interested in a Spacious 1 BR? It's a co-op complex in Mineola. Rent w/option to buy.
Check out Avalon towers or Monroe beach in Long Beach...both very nice and on the boardwalk!!! I lived at Monroe beach for 2 years before we bought our house and LOVED it!!!!
I lived in the Fairhaven Apartments for 8 years. They have apts in Carle Plc, Hicksville and Mineola. They are $$, but the apts are nice. However, the maintenance suks.

i agree any building in Long Beach is great as long as you stay on the east end where it is quiet...the avalon is a fortune but beautiful...the broadway right across the street is really nice...i live even more east than that closer to lido at the end of long beach and i love my building...i actually found mine years ago on craigs list!!!
