NWR - Condos/Townhouses

Hi all,
My fiance and I are looking to rent a condo/townhouse-type apartment. I am looking for a location somewhere in Suffolk County. I have gotten several recommendations of places (like some of the newer Fairfields and such). If anyone knows of any place, input/advice would be much appreciated - Thanks!

Hello! You can try Birchwood Glenn Co-Ops in Holtsville, they really don't post anything in the paper, sometimes the laudry rooms, have postings. Also, BlueRidge condos in Medford, they have a monthly gazette newspaper that goes around, I have seen some listings there, I have family that lives there. Good Luck!

I live in Knob Hill- Ronkonkoma. Are you looking to rent or buy? If you call the main number and speak with Joanne she can tell you if there are any for purchase or rent.

If you are looking to buy, check out www.mlsli.com to do a search on co-ops, condos or townhomes.

The only apartments that I know of are in Farmingville just off N. Ocean. The complex is called Island View Apartments. Last time I looked into them, they had a long waiting list (like a year long ) because of the cheap rent!. There are also various Fairfield properties but they are very expensive. Colony Park in Ronkonkoma is another apartment complex.

As for townhomes/condos you could try Strathmore Court , Blue Ridge, The Hunt Club or Bretton Woods (all in Coram).

GOOD LUCK

I see you live in Knob Hill - Ronkonkoma. What type of place is it (co-op, townhouse, condo, etc?) I am currently looking to purchase a co-op and it seems like the maintanence fees vary greatly. Do you own or rent? I don't want to ask personal questions, so I'll just ask if you don't mind if the rent is below $1200? Any other info you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I actually brought my one bedroom condo last year before Scott and I were really together yet. I am not sure what the rental costs. There are a few different unit styles and 1 or 2 bedrooms. If you call information and ask for Knob Hill office you can call and ask Joanne about any rentals. They post a notice in the main office every few weeks. It is a nice place to live, has a pool, tennis courts, playground and guarded gate after 8pm.

Thanks Michele31 Re: NWR - Condos/Townhouses

Ok, I will give Joanne a call. I would really like to purchase a one bedroom co-op/condo... instead of renting. Thanks again.
