NWR- cramps suck!

I really hate THAT time of the month...I am in constant pain and/or discomfort. why are we burdened with this for SO LONG!

ugh...sorry, but I am cold and miserable here at work and I just had to vent!

can't wait for menopause (or pregnancy, whichever comes first! )

Did you guys plan around your monthly friend for the wedding? It ***** for me b/c mine is irregg.

Since I am on the pill and know that I am going to have my period on my wedding AND honeymoon, I talked to the Dr. and he said it's ok for me to skip the week with my placebo pill and go right to my next set of pills. This way I will not get my period that month and I will be a happy, unbloated

I'm so excited I have that option !!!!!

thats great for you. i use to be on the pill years ago and stopped. my fh doesnt want me on and neither does my doctor. So all i could do is that i dont have it for my big day.

yeah, but I really don't do BC very well. I went on the pill a few years ago for about 3 months and it was literally the WORST time of my entire life....I had it every 2 weeks for like 10 days at a time...I will NEVER try it again....

You should talk to your doctor now...maybe the BCP you were taking wasn't right for you. There are so many options out there, that one will be right for you.

Seasonale -- have you liked it so far? I wanted to try and my doc talked me out of it. She said that you could get PMS symptoms (which believe me I get!!!) during the first month and get no relief until you hit the third month when you actually get your period. 3 months of PMS sounded hellish, so I didn't do it. Have you not had this experience? I love the concept!!

I'm not too far into it, but my Doctor said that I might have some breakthrough bleeding obviously until my body gets adjusted to it, but not even a 1/4 as bad as it normally would be if i wasn't on the BCP.

I'm happy so far...The mere thought of only getting 'Aunt Flo' four times a year...incredible...LOL

With all the money I'm saving not having to buy tampons and pads....I can probably put a downpayment on a a house (hehehehehe)

Obviously it's of my own opinion! LOL...don't want to be sued by anyone that didn't have a positve experience!

How could anyone not want to try it???? 4 times a year???? Honestly now!

by the way: when I went to my appointment last, I told my doctor that i wanted to make sure I didn't get aunt flo during my wedding...she said it's a good thing i came about 8/9 months in advance b/c some women wait untill there's really no chance to manuever it around (ie: 1 - 2 months before)...so for those considering...make sure you go at least 6 months in advance!

What about when you do get it? Does it flow like a river? What about cramps? Eveything thats unnatural kind of freaks me out...

I was told that I'll get my period like normal, same amount of time, and just as in the past. The cramps will eleviate like BCP are supposed to do, and you'll have less PMS symptoms.

It's unnatural per se, but yet not. A lot of women who are on Orthodtrycyclin skip their periods all the time, but not taking the last set of placebo pills...Seasonale just made it so that you won't have to go through the hassle of buying more packs, and having you take 84 days of BCP, and then one week of placebo.
