NWR: Cricut?

Does anyone have one? The Cricut Create is on sale @ Michael's but i don't know the difference between all of them. Can you print using this machine as well?

I have the cricut expression, which is the big one. No, you can not print on these cricut's but they are releasing one soon that prints as well. It was on HSN a few wks ago for like $350. The cricuts that are out now only cut. I did a lot of wedding DIY with my cricut though.

Is it easy to cut something that has already been printed on? I want to make escort cards and candy tags so I would need to print on them before cutting them out.

When I did my favor tags, I printed them on card stock and cut them with a paper cutter.
Using the cricut to cut them would have required a lot of perfect line up. I was new to using it and don't have that kind of patience right now. You can not tell the cricut the relationship between the printing and where you need things cut, would be great if you could. It is a great tool, but it does have limits.
My favor tags are layered, so I did use the cricut to cut out the other 2 layers. Actually I used it alot to cut layers. Also my table numbers were made on there, I cut out the number and layered it with other cardstock so the color shows through.
HTH!

they do have markers that you can put into the cutting blade holder and print using the markers. But, I found the markers to be too thick for the small details. If they have a fine tip marker it would be better.
It is also limited to what fonts you can use because you have to use their cartridges.
