NWR... Cruise

NWR... Cruise

So my FMIL asked FH and I to go on a Cruise in Feb-07. I really want to go, but I feel like it costs so much money and I really need to save for the wedding... Just felt like venting and getting my post count up..... What do you girls think

If she asked that must mean she's paying No but seriously, just talk with her and tell her that with the wedding you don't think it would be a good idea, especially being after the holiday's and trying to save and all.

I am thinking that if I say we can't go b/c of our wedding fund situation maybe they will pay..... But that is too sneaky for me to do....

GO! We're thinking of a cruise and truthfully... it's probably one of the cheapest vacas you can take!

I thought it would be expensive, since the drinks are not included. All the expenses on the different islands you go to. I don't know I have never been on a cruise before.

OMG, i have gone on a bunch of beach vacations (cozumel, aruba, dominican republic twice, bahamas, cancun twice) and we went on a cruise. The cruise was the most expensive one of them all.

i don't know where u r leaving from (but if its in February, i'm guessing its not NY) but u have to pay for plane tickets, the cruise, the drinks, and island excursions/expenses. FH and I ended up spending $2400 each in total

If she is paying, that is great, but if you guys have to pay, i would really think about staying home, or going some place for cheaper if you would really like to go away. I went to Dominican Republic last February for 7 days all inclusive and payed less than half of the amount we spent on the cruise

Cruising has always been majorly expensive in my case. You have to pay for all your activities at each port, your nightly drinking which can add up VERY quickly especially that you can't sneak bottles of any liquor onto the ship . But I've heard of people putting vodka in poland spring bottles to get it on the ship, I will certainly be trying that my next cruise whenever that may be.

If you want a cheaper vacation try an all-inclusive resort in the carribbean. Try Dominican Republic it is sooo underrated. It's gorgeous there and crazy cheap, especially Santo Domingo.

That's funny you mentioned that, I read this post after I posted about DR also. DR is awesome and so cheap, I've been there I think I'm up to 5 times within the last 7 years.

my future inlaws paid for me to go on a cruise with them. Actually FH's grandparents but we all went all 9 of us and his grandparents paid the whole bill...plus we didnt go on the cheaper carnival line, we went on the more expensive celebrity and it was 2200 a person.

Maybe they will pay you never know
