NWR: Cruise to the Caribbean...

Hi, ladies! I am going on a my 3rd cruise on Sunday. We are sailing on Adventure of the Seas. These are the islands we are going to: Puerto Rico, Barbados, St. Maaren, Antigua, and St. Thomas.

Has anyone ever been to any of these places on a cruise? If so, can you recommend any places to go (or places to avoid)? TIA!

We Loved St. Maarten........ We went o a beach, I can't remember the name of it right on teh border of the french and dutch side. We got in a cab and told the drive to take us to the beach.

THe beach he took us was so cute and had a little restaraunt were you could get $0.25 beers!!!!!

It was GORGEOUS......

ALso check out old street.....St. Maarten makes some of the most delicious rum I have ever tasted...... I think we bought like 12 bottles!!!!

Puerto rico... gotta go see the fort... thats like the thing to do there... el morro.... i would recommend taking a cab to isla verde and hang out on the beach

barbados... check out 'the boatyard'

st thomas... either moped around the island and go to different beaches or take the ferry over to st johns

antigua... went to an all inlcusive place called grand pineapple beach although i think the name has been changed... paid 50 bucks for the day and was able to use all amenities and eat and drink as much as wanted

Someone said that you can swim with the dolphins in Antigua. Do you know if that's true? I would love to do that!!!

not sure... i only did that in cozumel... i would go on the cruisecritic msgboards ... they can answer all of your questions over there... they even have a board for each port of call
