Re: NWR: dance classes
Most dance studios offer dance classes for adults. I've been contemplating going back for a while. I took classes for years at Dance Workshop. They're on Merrick road in Lynbrook. There's also Dancing Feet on Franklin Ave in Franklin Square. Steps Alive on Dogwood Ave is pretty good and June Clair in West Hemptead is also a great dance school.

yeah.. thats true. My concern is that i'm gonna get stuck in a class with people who have really never danced before and be bored lol. I'll check into those though

If you've taken dance classes before, then don't take a beginner class. If I were to do it, I'd probably take an advanced class simply because I danced all my life. The beginner classes are usually the ones for people who have never stepped foot on a dance floor or stage.

Re: NWR: dance classes
I know the feeling. I stopped taking formal classes in high school because I was on my HS kickline team and it took up too much time. Then when I got to college on I was on the kickline team and a tap dance squad. Dancing Feet is owned by my old HS kickline coach, so they're pretty good. I definitely don't think I'd trek all the way out to the city now just to take a class for fun though. I certainly don't have that kind of time on my hands anymore.
