Can anyone recommend an amazing day spa? I would prefer Suffolk County but will travel into Nassau if need to. I am looking for a quite and tranquil place, not a salon type atmosphere. ANy suggestions? Thanks!

Re: NWR - Day Spas
Estee Lauder has a spa in the Americana in Manhasset. right on 25a. I have heard it's quite lovely. If you are up for travelling into SoHo, the Helena Rubenstein Spa is really nice. Great massages and I had a really neat sugar scrub.

Re: NWR - Day Spas
I usually go to Nothing but the best Day Spa in Mt.Sinai-they are wonderful and it's not a salon (although they do great manicures/pedicures). Also I heard St.Tropez Day Spa in Port Jeff is good as well as Therapeutically Yours Day Spa in Hauppague.
Greenhouse Spa in Manhasset - at the Miracle Mile....pricey but sooo worth it

Thanks everyone - I am going to go with Rain Day Spa in Woodbury. I have heard around that there services are great and they have nice packages (not too pricey). Thanks for all the help!

Just so you know when you go to Rain , if you are with a group of people they are very rude about talking.. We could not talk above a wisper and we were getting manicures and Pedicures done. The epople gettign massages could hear us…..

Re: NWR - Day Spas
I would love a day at the spa. I just wish I could afford it. Maybe I will ask my FH for Christmas, but we did say no gifts this year!

Re: NWR - Day Spas
I originally asked this question for myself! Me and my FH said we weren't doing gifts this year also, but we decided to do something low key for each other. After 7 months of wedding planning the one thing that I could think of that I really wanted was a day of being pampered!!!

Re: NWR - Day Spas
My FH got me a gift certificate to a Day Spa in Port Washington for our 1st Christmas we were together which I thought was very sweet & romantic. (He also got me a gold nameplate necklace) He took me there for the day and waited a few hours for me then took me to dinner at a seafood place right there on the water. The place was called Diana's Spa. It was very nice!

Re: NWR - Day Spas
I absolutely LOVE Christopher Jon's on Sunrise Hwy. in Sayville. I did a whole day of spa treatments the day before the wedding and it was amazing.
