FH and I just moved into a new apartment and we have A LOT of white wall space that we need to cover up. Where did you go to decorate your home??? We are on a budget. So far we found a few nice canvas/pictures at Bed, Bath & Beyond, but we didn't find anything for the living room, just the kitchen. Any advice???

LOL, yea ALLL of our furniture is from Ikea, and it is all over 3 years old and starting to look old, but we couldn't afford to buy all new furniture for this apt. We'll buy new stuff when we buy a condo, or a house.

believe it or not - Penneys has really nice wall art and window treatments.
I also like art.com

We put up a big tapestry in our living room over our couch. The top of ours looks like this with the iron design, but the picture is much more different....its a countryside landscape...

definitely Home Goods. And I bought everything I have hung up on the walls in our apt (aside from the one above our bed which was from Ikea) from Art.com. I just bought the prints and got nice frames at Michael's (not the crazy $$$ custom frames, just reg frames, but they have nice ones)

I've slowly been collecting things from Target, Home Goods, TJ Maxx, Marshall's...not that I have an apartment or house LOL, but I like to work ahead.

Home Goods has great art and their prices are unbelievable.
If you're looking for furniture, you can try Raymour and Flanigan's. They have deals where you don't have to pay until 2012.
