Not sure if there are any other Denny's fanatics here but FH and most of my friends are very excited.. Looks like there building it in Centereach in the walmart shopping center..

Dont feel bad- I had never been to one until I was in FL..they are ALL OVER there.
Then, they actually had one in PA when we lived there and its wasnt bad though. Sorta like Friendys. It beat the diners in PA. eeewww
They are really building that area up, huh?
Centereach has been built up since they put Walmart there, I live down the road and I HATE IT!! SOO much traffic.

Looove dairy queen, there all over NJ soo thats one good thing about goin to school here hah .. but I have to say I love cold stone better!... And I wish there was a sonic! i here the closest one is like west virginia!

Denny's is cool lots of them ourside of NY along w/ Waffle House (its the club AFTER the club..LOL). The fast food place I want is Chick-fil-a! oh yeah...great waffle fries and chicken nuggets....yum! The only one in NY is on NYU's campus..

There used to be an Orange Julius in the Sunrise Mall, but they left

Theres an Arbys in the broadway mall in hicksville... I went there last week after my appt with Verbena Designs.. So Yummy.

I love Denny's and we always go to the first one in CT when we go to Foxwoods/Mohegan Sun/Mystic
I WISH we could try a Sonic and I totally agree that there shouldn't be commercials for them in NY! And I also tried to find the nearest one LOL
And I have never been to a Dairy Queen but they look SO good!
i hate sonic commercials, they are such a tease!!!!! besides that when is dennys coming, i heard they were months ago and nothing since!! i wnt to go for breakfast BADLY!!!

I love cracker barrel too, their chicken and dumplings are awesome, but I hear everything there is cooked in bacon fat. :( not too healthy

Im not sure when its opening but they started construction on the building that used to be Sizzler. I believe this is where its going.
