that some credit card companies are going to start charging for inactivity???
i took some NyQuil last night & was laying in bed with the news on & i think i heard that. does anyone have any information about it??

It is and isn't bad for your credit to close an account. From what I know (from the TODAY show ), it could be bad b/c it decreases your available credit, which then affects your credit to debt ratio. It could also be bad if you close one that you've had for a long time b/c then you have a shorter credit history. Both things affect your FICO score. Otherwise, I don't believe its that bad to close.
