they were talking about this bail out plan & this women came on the screen & said something that we very odd. i am trying to find out if she said it wrong. she said something about an idea where anyone who claims under $200,000 income on their taxes will be charged $2,000. did anyone else hear this????

FH was saying that she must have read the info wrong, but i have been going crazy since hearing it. i couldn't sleep last night & i can not find any info on-line about it. i am going to e-mail channel 5

maybe she said it wrong but it also could mean the new proposal plan to save our economy obviously if the pass the bill tax payers (us) will need to pay more for the proposal...maybe it has to do with something related to that

it did have to do with the bail out plan. but why would they charge people who make less then $200,000?? that is what i am questioning.

i could totally relate to you ....that stimulus check we got after taxes the 300 or $600 one really hurt our economy I don't think it was a good idea...Oh i don't want to get political so i'll just leave it as an opinion lol

i found out a little info it seems to be the alternative minimum tax & it seems to be for those who make more then $150,000. so maybe she ment to say that it would increase to those who make more then $200,000.

well in the other plan, i think they were saying that if it went through ppl should expect to pay $2500 about. But now with the new plan theres tax breaks for individuals and businesses, they didnt say which individuals would get a tax break. ANd the only thing i can think of with $200k, is that the FDIC now insures customers for $250k instead of $100k like its always been.
But this is why alot of ppl were against the bail out plan and there were emails and calls poured into the white house with ppl not happy with it and why they voted no at first. Its middle class america that will end up paying for it through taxes
