me too!!! literally from the minute it started ... but the scene with kurt and the parents in the bedroom ... i was a mess.

Seriously, I think I should be able to use a bereavement day at work tomorrow. I'm a GINORMOUS 'Gleek.' It was THE saddest TV episode.

This is going to sound so bad, but I didn't watch it on purpose. I get really upset/angry when people take their own lives, be it suicide or OD or anything like that. I couldn't bring myself to watch a 'tribute' to someone who knowingly did it to himself.

I sound so harsh, and I do sympathize with the cast/friend/family of the actor, but not him.

I was a huge Gleek back in the day though! Still love the show!

i kind of feel the same way. there was some part of me that felt uncomfortable with the way they are glorifying him. he had a major problem and it's still so sad, but i get what you're saying!

I do agree with this to an extent as well, however I think the show decided to do it to give closure to the cast members who worked alongside him. They did have the PSA's about addiction scattered throughout the show. But I see your point..

I think it's awful to judge people based on the way they died, in my opinion. Every life is different.

They didn't glorify drug use, they glorified the man they knew and loved. I thought they did a great job, you could really see that it was more for the cast than it was for the viewers.

NWR - did anyone watch glee? - Long Island Weddings

I watched and I cried only during 3 songs but because of my own issues lol. Seasons of love, Fire and Rain, and Feel My Love are three super sensitive songs to me and I cry just hearing them on the radio.

The episode also brought me back to my own senior year of high school where I had to bury one of my friends in the middle of senior year and I watched one of my closest friend in HS bury her boyfriend. Thats a period of my life I try to not live over and I didn't think that 7+ years later it still would've been triggered.

Like a few of you mentioned... in a way it was glorifying someone who died of a drug OD. (My ex was a heroin addict and nearly ruined my life as well as his own so I have issues with that on its own. )

The episode itself was for the cast. I get it. I thought it was well done and I appreciate the fact that we were able to see the actors in the most vulnerable state we could ever see them in.
