I've never eaten there and I feel guilty about it now! It's amazing what a difference they did with the inside

I think it was on Fox on Wednesday? I dont normally watch it but my grandma called and told me it was going to be on.

The chef seemed really nice but I think they should have fired the manager

I was happy to see NOTHING wrong with their kitchen (apparently many places have nasty kitchens, etc). Don't worry! They didn't change anything about the actual kitchen because it was clean, no bugs, etc. Chef Ramsey liked the crab cakes but thought the rest of the food was a little bland.

Basically the restaurant wasn't getting much business anymore and they were thinking of closing down. The show pointed out how 10 years ago there were only ~ 8 restaurants in the surrounding area and now there are 40+.

They revamped the interior to make it more upscale, and changed the menu to healthier food to fill a niche market, and reopened. I guess with so much competition they needed to set themselves apart in some way.
