Fh and I were sitting on the bed, and I started yelling at him to stop shaking it! I didn't believe it was an earthquake until my mom called. Weird, I've never felt anything like that before. I hope everyone in Virginia is okay? Is anyone else having cell phone trouble now?

my t-mobile cell stopped working for a few mins. couldn't make a call out!

I didn't feel it, I was grabbing lunch outside..
my coworkers felt it though, on the 21st floor!

I came back and everyone was evacuating!

I'm in Chapel Hill, NC and we DEFINITELY felt it here!! Our cubicles were swaying and so were the giant construction cranes next door

OMG is that what that was?? I was on my computer and the desk and chair started to shake. I thought it was my cat and when I looked neither of them was there so I just figured I was buggin' out. I'm in the Bronx, btw.

Both my FH and I cell phones aren't receiving calls. We have Sprint. Its letting us txt though but taking forever.

FH and I both felt it here in Smithtown. We thought we were both going crazy until I called my mom and she said she felt the same thing.

I was stopped at a traffic light in Mt. Sinai - couldn't figure out why my car was swaying and shaking when the trees were still, convinced myself it was wind until I got to the Dentist's office and they said there was an earthquake!
