NWR: Dinner Cruises around Manhattan/30th Birthday ideas

Has anyone gone on a great dinner cruise around Manhattan that they can recommend?

OR

Does anyone have awesome ideas to do for my fiance's 30th birthday? I'm drawing a blank and I have less than a month!

I think we did the Spirit Cruise around NY, it was really good (but it was like 4 years ago...)

What does he like to do? My FH and I had just started dating when he turned 30, but I told him we were going out to dinner and then i had all of his friends meet us out and surprise him. Then two years later I threw him a surprise 30+2 Birthday haha.

Haha well he loves the Rangers (but he & his father are season ticket holders), likes theatre (we go all the time)... basically if he likes something/wants to do something--he does it/buys it... so he's kinda difficult to get gifts for haha

We are actually already throwing him a surprise party... but I need to give him a gift. I'm good at little things, but I want to get him a big gift this year!

I will look into Spirit Cruise... I was just looking at Xperience days & their dinner cruises as well.

My FH and I went on 2 dinner cruises that left out of Port Washington, went under all the bridges and went around Elis Island and the Statue of Liberty...VERY NICE....it included dinner, dessert and dancing...I don't remember if it included drinks. HIGHLY recommend this!

Other Ideas...maybe do some kind of Fall theme thing...Hershey Park around this time has Halloween Fest I think...Six Flags has Fright Fest soon if it isn't already under way.

You can always do the traditional surprise party at someone's house which is pretty affordable!

I planned my friends 30th bday a few years ago at 230 fifth in the city. was $$$ but such a nice place. the most amazing views.

my moh did her fiances 30th bday in March at Mccanns I think that's the name of it in Massapequa it was $20 a person I think or $30. they had a part of the bar to themselves and it was open bar all night.

my other friend did a table/bottle service at Aura in east meadow for his 30th.

depends what you and him are into but a lot of bars will let you do things or clubs as long as you buy drinks.
