NWR: Discount Furniture?

Where can I go for some super cheap furniture? DH hates Ikea, so that's probably out.

I need to spend under like, 400 for a dining set (no need for a china cabinet)...

Bob's is going to be the cheapest but you're paying for what you get. I bought a living room set about 3 years ago and it hasn't held up well. My kitchen table and chairs were also from Bob's. It's doing ok...we aren't skinny people, but we aren't ginormous and some of the legs are cracking on the bottom.

However, the look of the furniture is great and the people there are fabulous to work with. We didn't care about quality because we know once we move into our next house in a few years, we'll buy stuff that will last longer since that will be our 'final' house!

i actually bought most of my furniture from bob's and haven't had a problem with it. if you buy their 'goof proof' protection plan, they will fix and/or replace anything that is damaged - all you have to do is call.

i bought the montreal dining set from them and it is awesome and was $499 i think

ITA .... my bedroom set it from bobs as well and I haven't had any problems either. Plus, i have the protection plan so if there ever was a problem, they'd come fix it!

Same. When we moved our couch, entertainment center, bed frame and mattress all came from bobs...and they have great financing options going on right now I think interest free for 1 year
