It's funny a lot of people have been accused of murder and proven innocent at trial and it all go to rest.
This man was proven innocent and so many people are upset about it. I guess they're not used to see people 'like' him walk away free.

I'm not trying to start any drama.....but I find a comment like this to be racist. You don't know us personally so you can't say that the reason we're surprised he was acquited is b/c of the color of his skin.

Like many other brides have said....this is not about race, this is about a man making himself look like a criminal....or at the very least, he's being insanely insensitive to his children and the families of the deceased.

Think of it this way.....if my husband were murdered, and I was put on trial and acquited.....do you think I would write a book detailing how I would have done it? Regardless of whether he's innocent or guilty no normal human being would glorify the killing of their spouse by writing a book about it.

Why sign the petition saying that you won't buy the book and give it that much more attention?

Judy Reagan is a media whore - look at all of the attention its getting.

I don't like so it, so I'm not gonna buy it and that's the end of it - putting it out of my mind.

I can't either - but it's too late to stop it. Judy Reagan could have stopped it. She didn't. The networks could have stopped it. THEY didn't. For everyone, it's about dollar signs and press.

Plenty of people are going to be disgusted and watch and others are going to be intrigued and watch. You've got people who think he's guilty (I am one of those people) and people who think he's innocent.

We can't stop the machine by continuing to feed it, you know?

Well... All I will say since I watched the case VERY closely at the time.... the man had more evidence against him that most people found guilty. That's without the amount of evidence that was 'trashed' due to poor handling of the evidence when it was collected. There was so much evidence that the police force mishandled a lot of it. Which in term got inadmissible in court.

SOOOOOO please... spare me the racist comment... 'poor black man harrassed by white people'.

I don't care if I offend anyone.

This case was not about color, age, origine... it was about a double homicide.


FYI..... he was found guilty in the civil trial.

EXCELLENT POINT!!!
He got off bc of $$$ and his social status. Any middle class or lower income person of any race-black, white, asian, hispanic or martian would have been sent right the the chair.

Nicole's blood was found in his truck...come on now let's be for real here!!! It's called DNA!

I don't see anything wrong with a good old-fashioned public outcry against it. I understand the theory of any 'publicity' being 'good publicity' but I don't see that as a reason not to at least speak out against something.

I signed with other like-minded people and then put it out of my mind as well.

So I suppose we disagree about the first part and agree about the second part (moving on and letting it drop.)

Oh yeah, totally. Expressing different points of view is what keeps things interesting.

Not for nothing, but when Lacey Peterson was found dead in a river somewhere, and her husband was looking guilty as sin, I don't recall one person saying, 'Well, gee, he's WHITE - so he must be innocent...'



Same deal with that Blakely guy who had his wife hit at the restaraunt....

i sooo completely agree. i dare anyone to play the race card with me.
regardless of whether or not he is innocent, what he is doing right now is disturbing and sickening... and makes him look a heck of a lot more guilty than innocent. like another poster said, if my husband was murdered and i was put to trial and found innocent, would i be doing what he is doing right now?
he is insane. and trash.

I wouldn't make assumptions about why people have the opinions they do. Most of us deserve more credit than that. (And if you'd like to know my track record -- I worked for years in the nonprofit sector trying to get innocent people of all colors, creeds, and nationalities off of death row and worked for prisoners rights). If this is what you're intimating, I don't think it's fair to suggest that this is what you think people are basing their opinions on. Most of us deserve a lot more credit than that... And if you look at statistics, men 'like' him in social terms (wealthy and well-known) walk free more often than not. I think by now we're all used to rich sports stars walking free on criminal charges, whether or not they did it. Thing is, those people aren't coming back years later writing books and giving interviews about how they did it 'if they did it.'

What I'm upset about - and what I would hope any decent human being would outraged about - is that this man is going on national TV to discuss how he killed his ex-wife AND MOTHER OF HIS CHILDREN 'if he did it.'

That is sick and that is distubring whether or not he did it. At this point, I'm not trying to hang the man to say he's guilty - only a few people could know whether or not he is for sure. I AM trying to say that what he's doing now - guilty or not - is sick, disturbing, and shows little sadness over what happened and zero respect for his children.

The man is disgusting even if he is innocent. Any man willing to put his children through that after their mother was brutally murdered deserves most of the criticism he receives...

Agreed! The whole idea that this person would have so little regard for his own kids and for the families of the victims shows exactly how low he is. He should be arrested for being so disgusting!!!
