ok i am sick and i need to go to the doctor. I havent been there since June 22nd and they say i need a checkup
what does a checkup entail? anyone know?
I just wanna know how long I will be there or and what do they do

UPdate I went tot he doc and i have a nasty cold/sinius infection. i am on 3 different meds! just in time for xmas i am so afraid my FH family will want me to stay home xmas eve... i have been hysterically crying for he past hour cuz i do not wanna stay home!

My physician is very thorough. She usually checks my hearbeat, blood pressure, tonsils, etc...she also takes a CBC (complete blood count) and urine sample. She will ask me questions like, how I've been feeling, if anything has been bothering me lately, the date of my last period. Normally she takes about an hour...which is why it is very hard to get an appointment with her but she's GREAT!

They are going to weigh you...take blood work...blood pressure...heart rate,etc..,i think its going to take up to an hour depends on how long the wait is

They check for everything. If you do not feeel good it would be good.

I hope you feel better....rest up...if you are on the meds it may take a day or 2 but by Sun. you should be a lot better....I'm sure you could still see your family, just keep your distance.

You'll feel better by Saturday, and sinus infections aren't contagious. Only the cold is.
