NWR- Does anyone believe in the washing machine/dryer sock monster?

No matter how careful I am I always lose either one of mine of FH's socks!!!! ugh!!!!!

OMG, me too! Where the heck do they go???? We have sooo many unmatched socks....I usually just wear them unmatched.

I'm another firm believer.

I SWEAR, SWEAR, SWEAR that I put BOTH socks in the hamper, but I always lose at least one sock every wash!

not only has a washer dryer eaten countless socks,and tons of my thongs but entire pairs of jeans

My FH will account for this as well!
they were his jeans and they disappeared

I drop off my laundry and they ALWAYS lose one sock too.....I got soooo mad abt it one day b/c I had just bought FH lacoste socks and they lost ONE.

But I guess its the price I pay for being lazy and not doing it myself.

hahhaaa why is that? That happens all the time with us. Or my socks come out looking like toddler socks lol..

I believe!!! I believe!!!

I have a bunch of unmatched socks in my drawer - I put them in there in the hopes the 'other' match will find its way back or maybe the crazy monster will have a stomach ache and return them but NO!!!

And I swear that lil guy LOVES socks and undies!

me too!!! i loss so many socks and dont have matches at all and then i have to buy more socks.

Yes! One of my socks got swallowed by FH's washer and caused a back up! I did get my sock back

Our monster is a sock/yoga pants monster. For some reason I seem to lose a pair or workout pants every time I wash!

all the time!!! and whats worse is that i go to a laundromat now, and i literally sit and watch the cycle.. and somehow, there is still ALWAYSSSSS a sock gone... so what i've learned to do is to keep all the single socks, and with each load i throw one single sock in, so i still end up with an even number. lol

i swear my washing machine/dryer/basement eats my clothing..not just socks and underwear...w/o fail i end up losing clothes..
