We're looking for a 2nd car and my parents just called to tell me that they found a jeep. I know nothing about Jeeps but I know someone who has one and loves it and someone else who doesn't think they're safe. Any opinions?

dh has a 2001 jeep. TERRIBLE gas mileage. dunno if the newer models are better though.

I had a Jeep in college..it was a 1995- I had a lot of problems with it, but still a nice truck.

I had a 2003 jeep liberty and when the lease was up last year I got the new 2006 jeep grand cherokee. I loved the liberty and now I love my cherokee!!
I think i'll be a jeep girl forever.

I have an 04 Jeep Wrangler...love it...great gas mileage...very safe, expecially in the snow. Awesome in the summer with the top off...The new 4 door jeeps are awesome too.

I have a 2004 jeep liberty and love it. It's the perfect size and I feel very safe driving it, I'll never go back to driving a regular car. The only down side is obviously the gas mileage as is any SUV but we have FH's car to switch it up.

My ILs had the 2003 Liberty and now have the 2006 Grand Cherokee.
I love them! They let me use them when they go OOT (they take my little old car to park at the airport) or when they need to take grandma somewhere. I have to give back the Cherokee today

My parents have an '04 jeep cherokee and I refused to drive it. I thought it had such blind spots, and it's was such a rough/bumpy ride. I know my dad mostly drives the car because my mom also doesn't feel comfy in it. I think the Liberty is smaller so it might not be so bad.
I now have a Mercury Mountaineer and I love it!!

FH has had two jeeps...a cherokee and grand cherokee. He's had a lot of problems with both jeeps. He needs to get a new truck soon and I told him, no more jeeps

FH has a trailblazer I love to drive it but I dont like to put gas in it. I love jeeps though so roomy I would have one if it wasnt for the gas. But I still may be considering one next year maybe.

both my brother and sister have Jeeps (1997 & 1998) - they love them. They both have about 150,000 miles on em and still going. My bro had to replace his tranny though. That's about it.

My FH had a Grand Cherokee and now has a Commander. They are stinky on gas but other that they are great! I love them!
