My friend Juliana has one and likes it. A part broke recently, and they sent her a replacement part for free.

I have it - a present from DH's mom. I didn't really like it that much when we used it in the old apartment, but I feel like it might work better on hard wood floors. Right now it's broken (not sure how) but once it's up and running again, I'll let you know if the verdict is different

ETA: I just read the post above- maybe these things break a lot??

My friend seemed to think that her particular issue was a run-of-the-mill problem, as she was able to find the 'how to fix it' information on their website, and it seemed fairly routine for them to send out the replacement part.

::shrug:: I have NO idea though. I still like the idea of something vacuuming for me.

I got my sis the Discovery last x-mas.
She loves it. It is a little loud IMO, but she lets it run when they go to work and it finds its way back to the charger when its done.

They have a dog so it takes care of all the hair without sweeping every day. They have two babies and lots of toys and it maneuvers its way around anything left out.

I would recommend it.

Its never broken on her in about a yr.

I love mine. We had a black out and it broke the Roomba and they sent me a new one. I have to clean mine alot because I have a husky, but other than that it's great.
