My gyn prescribed the patch for me, but I have been hearing that it has horrible side effects. Plus, I am concerned about weight gain. Any one currently use or on the patch???

There is the blood clot angle.. and my cousin was on it . used it to the directions without fail... she got preggers THREE times.(thank goodness all healthy babies)
Im a shot girl (depo) no weight gain no nasty side effects but i heard thats not the norm..

A friend of mine is on it and questioned the dr after hearing all the bad things that came out about it. Her dr told her that if she didn't smoke, was in relatively good health, and was 'young' - then she was fine on it and didn't have to worry about it.

I used to use it, hated it and now use nuva ring and love it!
I would be ok on the patch for the first 2 months, after that I would spot the WHOLE month when I continued using it! I used it two seperate times, the 2nd time was when I remembered why I stopped using it in the first place It also never really stuck to my skin very well, it always starts to peel off before the week was up, especially in the summer, and damn was it itchy!
