NWR: Dog groomer recommendation? *with puppy picture*

So we just got our new Yorkie puppy him! He is a total mush, his name is Nikko. We really need a good groomer recommendation, I think he's already in bad need of his first trip! Does anyone have a groomer in western Suffolk that they love?


ETA Ok, and now there's a picture!



D'oh! I just realized I origionally wrote eastern Suffolk, I meant to say WESTERN Suffolk!

I actually take both of my dogs to Petsmart (we use Farmingdale) for grooming...

I've tried alot of different smaller groomers and Petsmart does as great a job for much less price.

OMG, he is adorable!!! When I lived in Suffolk, we used to take my dog to Pretty Puppy which is in Holbrook. The people there were so nice and my dog always came out looking adorable!

sorry, the girl I HIGHLY recommend is in western suffolk.
Kristen at Cozy Pet (she bounces between babylon and north babylon) she is amazing, actually EVERYONE there is... I used to take my ferret there to get her nails done, and they were great with her, I used to work next door to them, and I'd never heard ANYONE complain.

my friend Deneen had taken her yorkie to another groomer who did a HORRIBLE job and traumatized the dog.. I told her to go to cozy pet, just watch them groom, let the dog meet them, she did... and he has the cutest little hair cut now. I swear they're like dog whisperers there!

He is ADORABLE

My mom uses Clean as a Whisker in Ronkonkoma

They always do a great job on our little furbaby!

aw!! I have a yorkie too! We got her right after our wedding!

Sorry we don't live on LI anymore so I'm no help but just wanted to spread the yorkie love :)

Grooming on Broadway in Greenlawn is great! They are the most reasonable that I have found in the area and they do a good job

All Suffolk Dog and Cat groomer in Lindenhurst. He's great! He also will pick up and drop off!

I LOVE Pampered Paws on Main Street in Farmingdale! Both my dogs go there. Diana is awesome! It's technically Nassau but only by about 2 blocks.

Not in Suffolk, but worth going into Nassau
Love My Puppies in Wantagh (exit 28N off SS)

Puppies are not the easiest to cut. They have a lot of experience with them being that it's not only grooming shop, they sell puppies as well. It's done by appointment only so Nikko won't be there all day. Usually takes about 1 1/2 - 2 hrs.
