NWR - dog owners

this is going to sound strange. i have a 13 year old yorkie & lately he keeps running in circles. besides getting me dizzy he keeps bumping into things AND falling down the stairs luckily he hasn't hurt himself... yet. he has been doing this since i got home around 6:00 & hasn't stopped! i tried to calm him down but he so hyper tonight!!!

any theories??? i tried looking it up.. found nothing

Omg I have no idea. Could something be wrong with his vision. Call the vet and see what they say. Keep me updated

Could he have gotten into chocolate??

We have a yellow lab and right before velntine's day he ate a whole bag of M&M's...thankfully nothing happened to him but he got REALLY hyper and then crashed like two days later.

Def. call the vet and see what might be contributing to this new hyper behavior.

I'd get the doggie to the vet right away. Not to scare you but that could be an underlying condition. Tons of 's to you and the doggie!

yes. at his last visit to vet she said he is legally blind he doesn't seem to be suffering. still has an appetite. still has some spunk in him. it just like right after dinner he gets into this 'mood'. on the advice from a friend we did swithch his dog food. it was supposed to give more energy . but boy this is overkill !

he does have a check up with the vet next week will mention his behavior.

Thanks !
