I don't know if I'd be angry... it's not like it's an ex boyfriend or anything... it's her mistake to make, she's an adult. That's not to say you can't voice your opinion, but don't expect her to be like, sure Jess, no problem. I don't think there's mch you can do or say about this.

The in the dark thing will blow over... that's annoying, but whatever.

If there's more to the story though, it's hard to give a well thought out opinion... but based on what you've said, I still stand by my above opinion.

But listen, you're entitled to feel how you feel. But as entitled as you are, so is she, so if you're going to make a conscious decision to be pissed about something after thinking it over and bouncing the general idea off other people, be prepared for the rebuttal, KWIM?

ETAShe shouldn't have lied. I'd be pissed about that part that she's my bf and couldn't feel like she could tell me

But the dirtbag part... that falls under the 'Her mistake to make' category. You can express your opinion but it's up to her whether she wants to listen or not

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Das disgusting...

I mean i would be mad bc she did NOT trust me!!!
Especially if we have been friends foreva n I trust her with my life...

But i think whats annoyin U the fact SHE DIDNT TELL U BECAUSE THERE IS SO MUCH TRUST BETWEEN U to HER....
Not the fact she is effin this guy bc this guy means nothing to u.

I get you feel hurt after all you've done for her. Like I said, you're entitled to feel how you feel and I don't think anyone would blame you for being hurt and subsequently angry about a) being lied to and b) watching someone you love make bad decisions after you've spent so much time energy and money investing in their ability to make better choice for herself.

BUT You can't change someone. You can help thm if they want help, but you can't make her not lie or fix all her bad choices. You can tell her how you feel, but if she's got her heels dug in and she's been 'with' this guy for months, unfortunately you have to face the reality that it's unlikely she's going to listen to anything you have to say about it. You have to decide if you wana be around when she needs someone to pick up the pieces or if this is the last straw. If you're going to decide to be there, you have to kinda let it go though. It's really not worth it to stay angry... it won't change anything.

ETA, you're not being a giant baby. And I think you're doing the right thing to start off with by trying to process how you're feeling.

Have you thought about why you are so angry? IMO you have very right to be mad bc she 1) lied 2) feels that she cannot tell you things

But as far as the person she is with I heis. D-bag she will have to learn that herself, and thathe is older...age really is just a number and a preference.

From what you about DH not liking her bc of her drama, this almost sounds like another drama stunt....she does sound like more trouble than it's worth, especially if she cannot trust you as a friend to tell you things....

Cheer up girl, we are here for you :)
