I've had a second hole in both of my ears for like 4 yrs now..and all of a sudden the past few months, they have become so infected...im at the point where i just wanna clear up the infection and then let them close....any suggestions on how to get rid of the infection (without going to the dr just yet..since i dont have insurance until may 1)?

Mine used to get infected and still do if I wear earrings with posts (now I only wear hoops). I always found that bacitracin worked. HTH!

I've dealt with this all my life- peroxide helps...
BUT, your body is having a problem with the nickel in the silver or gold in your earings- try 'sensitive solutions' they sell them @ Claire's OR anything that is 'nickel free'. I can almost guarentee that this will help (don't waist your money on doctors, it won't help)

get some bactine and clean it 2x a day and also clean it will dial soup. Hope you feel better.

Go to Utopia or any piercing parlor and get the salt. Take the salt and mix it with water and take a cup and apply pressure and just sit with the cup on your ear. It sounds bizarre but as a person who's had some piercings, this is the best way to cure an infection.
